Mothers Day on the Water

We decided to make Mothers Day a little more interesting this year.  Rather than drive to dinner, we decided it would be fun to boat.  Well, it was interesting...  a little chilly, but really fun.

Grandma Nancy was all smiles on the boat, and Sophie was pretty happy too.  She recently learned how to say "Boat Ride" and asks to go every day.

Grandma May was a real trooper.  It was chilly and a bit choppy, but she never complained.  Normally not all that eager to ride on the boat, Grandma May demonstrated the outlook I hope to have when I'm 86!  She was all smiles.

Mom took the one seat on the boat that was not dry initially, ending up having to move to the floor.  She was dressed for -20 degree temperatures,  and glad she did.

Owen was happy because he got to drive!

We boated from Clinch Marina to the Boat House and had a wonderful meal.  It really was a fun way to spend Mothers Day!
