For Owen's Birthday, we took him to see Thomas the Train- In Person. Thomas just happened to visit Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI the weekend before Owen's Birthday. We met up with our Ann Arbor cousins while we were there and we had a ball!

Do you think these cousins had a good time?

The celebration continued on Owen's actual B-day- May 5th. We invited our local family over. He got to choose the dinner menu, and he chose breakfast. |

So, we had Chocolate Chip pancakes, eggs, breakfast meat and... |

A birthday cake... sort of |

Grandma Gail bought some doughnut holes for Owen's "cake". The funniest thing is that Owen doesn't know these as doughnuts, he refers to them as Beignets. Do you think we've been to New Orleans a couple of times? |
 |
Well, he really likes "beignets", he had about 4 before we realized he was stuffing his face. |
 |
The big party occurred on Saturday, and ofcourse the theme was Thomas. This is the birthday cake. |

We had a lot of kids come, I think about 16 total. |
 |
Sophie's good buddy Laila came to play and they figured out how much fun it is to push around a stroller. Sophie did the riding part very well. |
