A Weekend in Chi-Town

We recently met the Madison Plums in Chicago.  We love spending time with them and the kids have a ball together.

Waiting for our Water Taxi, the kids were excited to be at the big city!

We stayed in a HUGE suite at the Westin River North- gotta love those Am Ex points, we really got our money's worth this weekend.

Owen and Bea, so happy together!

Jason and Charlie just recently got new matching hats- I thought they were so cute!

Charlie was such a ham, he would smile on demand all weekend- I love when kids do that!!!

Bea riding the Water Taxi next to her daddy

We rode the Ferris Wheel Twice!  Here's our first "go around"

The Chicago Children's Museum was phenominal.  We couldn't have spend the day there.  The best part was the building room, Owen loved it.  He was pretending to be his daddy.

Sophie loves her boat rides!

After walking 7 miles and  going to two museums these kids were beat.  Owen insisted on going to bed with Bea that night.

No pictures of our night out, but thanks to my wonderful friend Loreen (a Chicago Local) the four of us were able to go out to dinner Saturday night. We went to a great sushi place: "Sushi Samba Rio".  Mmmm, mmm- that sushi was SO GOOD!

Before we left on Sunday we spend some more time at Navy Pier.

This is when we rode the Ferris wheel again.  This day, however, was a much clearer day.

Owen ate a good lunch, so he got to ride the "Light House"  He insisted on riding alone and loved every minute of it!

We finished Sunday afternoon off with a carousel ride.

The person who took this picture didn't know how to focus us, but its still a good memory!
