Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the special dads in the world.  We celebrated Fathers Day with a nice Country Club brunch with G-pa Gary and G-ma Gail.

Congratulations also go out to my parents, they celebrated their 39th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday!

After brunch we headed home and our daddy took a nap before heading over to his most recent project, home #15 in this year's Parade of Homes.  He is getting wonderful feedback with this year's custom home, so we are excited.  We'll be really excited when the Parade is over, as it keeps Deano away from us quite a bit.

The kids and I stayed home and played on the beach with the TC Plums who came to spend the day with us.  We had a very nice day on the beach (and I even got a couple hours of kid free sun bathing:)

Dean got home in time for a yummy dinner off the grill and an amazing spinach salad my mom put together.  After dinner we hopped in the boat and took Owen tubing- what a great time!

Although I don't have pictures of our bonfire, we enjoyed some S'mores and Cocktails with our great friends Holly and Bill, Stacey and Tony and Whitney.

Here's another fun picture of our Arbutus Nature Preserve: a baby snapping turtle

To demonstrate just how small it was, we compared it to a marble:

On a special note, its Grandma Nancy's Birthday today! We have really appreciated extra help from Mom over the last few weeks with Dean's injury and will be thinking of her today!
