Fall is Here: Football and Farms

Last weekend we took a road trip to Grand Rapids for Sophie's Pulmonology appt.  Her appt went ok, she is now on a new maintenance inhaler and a new asthma action plan.  The bummer is that her weight is continuing to be a concern, as she has lost weight over the last 3 months.  The doctors are getting frustrated with her because she is do darn healthy otherwise.  The good news is that she did grow a little taller.  We are going to have a few more labs drawn to rule out a crazy gastrointestinal malabsorption disorder, but we aren't expecting them to come back positive.  We will keep you posted.

While in Grand Rapids we spent time with our GR family, but for some crazy reason I didn't take any pictures of our time with them.  The kids really had a great time playing with Simon, Elliot and Issac on Friday evening and were very thankful to Aunt Dar and Uncle Craig for allowing us to stay with them.

Saturday was our day in Ann Arbor.  We took Owen to a Michigan game.  Sophie got to stay and play with Uncle Ryan and Jenson, and we were able to meet up with Aunt Sarah and Emily at the game.

The whole first half, Owen couldn't wait to go find Emmy... we found her at half-time and they were so excited

I don't know, do you think Owen was having a good time?

We were three of the 109,933 people in attendence

On Sunday we were home and went to Hoxie's Farm Market in the morning.  The kids picked out their pumpkins (sized for making our pumpkin chairs).  We ate doughnuts, drank warm apple cider and got lost in a corn maze- we really had a great time.

We were in there for over an hour, still didn't find all the clues

"You lookin' at me?"
