Whew... Let me take a deep breath as we recover from all the fun of the last week. On December 26th, all the Plums joined us here at the compound for "A Good Old Fashioned Family Christmas" (can you tell that National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is my favorite holiday movie?) I'd really like to make a holiday movie of all the shenanigans, maybe I'll work on that this week so you can get a real sense of what its like during the holidays with this ever growing Plum Family. Speaking of the Plum Family, here's a shot of everybody, but it won't be up to date for long. Only until May when GR Plum #3 is born.
My mom has been busy the last few weeks, she has been sewing her heart out. One of her projects was making aprons for all the older kids for meal times... its hard to tell from the pictures, but they each are personalized.
So, meal time is pretty crazy. Here are some shots from pizza night...

After meal time it was time for gifts... just picture this: 13 adults, 10 kids (age 4 and under), dozen's of wrapped gifts, oh yeah it was crazy- but so much fun!
Here's a picture before we got to opening gifts. We contained the kids into one room, which worked really well. They all had a great time!
My mom didn't only make aprons for the kids, she made every grandchild two pairs of homemade fleece jammies. They are so awesome! After some bribes of candy and cookies, we tried to assemble a picture... we tried. At least all the kids are in it:) My kids win the awards for the happiest (Sophie) and the Saddest (Owen)- ok so maybe it was a tie between Owen and Elliott... he he
After presents, we had to let the kids watch one of the new DVD's they got. Aunt Mary sat down with "Round One" (as we refer to the first 5 cousins born). They watched Cars- Owen's new favorite movie.
Sophie wasn't much in to the movie, but she does like loving her new dolls...
Owen got "special privileges" and got to watch the entire movie, so he and Aunt Mary hung out. Owen made sure she wouldn't leave his side...
The next day was a beautiful sunny day and we all went out and played on the ice rink. It was such a nice day, I got a lot of nice photos...

Amidst all the family fun we still got away for a nice lunch with some friends we don't get to see too often: Holly & Bill and Katie and Josh.
