Merry Christmas to all... we are here at Munson enjoying the best gift in the world- a healthy baby girl- Sophie Ann Adams
She was born December 24th, 2008 at 9:25 pm. She was 6# 14oz at birth, 20 inches long. I came to the hospital after contracting at home irregularly all day. Upon arrival to the hospital I was almost sent home, but thankfully stayed and quickly thereafter went into more regular contractions. Grandma & Grandpa brought Owen in to see momma about 7:30.
By 8 pm I was already dilated to 6 cm and Sophie was born at 9:25. I made it through labor without meds or an epidural which I was thrilled about! It was a very different experience from Owen's labor and delivery. All the grandparents came to see Sophie after she was born.

We just checked your blog and saw beautiful Sophie Ann. Owen is looking pretty impressed with his little sister. Many, many congratulations and best wishes for the four of you! We also think it is very special to have three cousins sharing a birthday month. We're looking forward to sharing this grandparent thing with your folks. Ann is due in late June. Can't wait!
