On Friday we went downtown to the Tree Lighting and Santa's Arrival. It was packed with people and lots of kids. We all had a great time.
We met the rest of the family down there as well.
It was hard to see so the kids spent most of the time on Daddy's Shoulders...
Holly and Bill were in town for the weekend and we met up with them downtown as well. It was great to see them!
On Sunday we headed to Kingley to cut down our X-mas Tree. On the way we stopped to take a look at the new house. Inside utility work continues to go on, hopefully the roof will get started soon, our windows are due to be painted by next week and should be installed after that. The winter has started and stayed very early this year... kind of a bummer when you are trying to build a house in the late fall- but it will be fine.
Here is Owen looking out the dining room window
The Great Room Windows

Our Windows for the extra garage were done and installed this weekend. This is what the house will look like when the windows are installed next week.
After visiting the house we went to cut down our X-mas tree from Schmuckal Tree Farm.
On Sunday was Deano's Birthday. We celebrated on Saturday night with the Plum Family at Red Lobster (but I forgot my camera, so no pictures sorry) On Sunday we went to Mom's house in Interlochen for a yummy lasagna dinner. Owen always has a great time at Grandma's House, but this time was extra special. He got to help blow out candles, and actually ended up blowing a candle out all by himself.
He got to play with Aunt Kathryn who was feeling pretty good after having her wisdom teeth pulled on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
He got to have some quality time with Vavor... who knew calculators and magnifying glasses could be so much fun?
And finally, he got to read books with Grandma Nancy who is the best story teller.
