Here is a "hodge podge" of what we were up to in the last days of summer
Owen has recently discovered that not only does he enjoy playing with his cups from his drawer, he enjoys sitting in the drawer while he plays. This was the first time he did this- he got here without any of our help...

We've been out to the lake quite a bit. On the last Sunday before Fall some of our friends joined us at the construction site/ lake for some boating and dinner. Owen and I joined them dinner (we were both napping as I had to go to work). Auntie Mackenzie and Owen got to have some quality time by the fire...
Jeff, Katie, Mackenzie, Ben and Jenna joined us for our end of summer celebration. Here we are eating dinner.
Even though Fall officially had started, we had some very nice weather last weekend. On Friday we had dinner out at the lake. Owen was a big boy and sat at the picnic table with Ally while they ate Pizza and Peas. After a while Owen gave up on sitting nice and started eating Allys peas... It was all downhill from there. Apparently, Ally's peas were way cooler because they were in a green container, his were in a boring clear one...
The next day we went back to the lake and enjoyed a 75 degree Saturday. Owen swam a lot. This is actually right before we were leaving... he is still loving it. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of us Kayaking around the lake. We didn't know how Owen would like sitting on a Kayak wearing his life jacket, but he actually really enjoyed it!
My best buddie at work just recently gave birth to her first baby. We took Owen out to meet her. He did a very good job of loving the baby...

Ava and I were looking at these photos together and she pointed to Owen and said "baby." I showed her the other baby, but she was only interested in him! I hope one day they will be able to meet! Take care, Tricia!
