While we were in Hawaii we spent a lot of time at the pool.
Because of Owen's love for his bath time and his ability to blow bubbles, we decided to give going underwater a try. Take a look at some of the pictures below... Owen did so well. He actually would encourage us to keep taking him under.
Deano also worked with Owen on other things like floating on his back and kicking while on his belly.
Grandma and Grandpa spent time with him in the pool as well.

The tradewinds came in the last few days we were there. This meant big waves and we took an afternoon to go wave hopping.
Owen liked watching us ride the waves in...
He also liked playing in the waves himself.
The ocean sure does a number on your hair... but it was soooo much fun.
Afterwards, Grandma got him all warmed up while we went back out into the waves
