Venetian Festival, one of my favorite weekends of the year! We had another great time this year. It started out a little intense for me as I got to drive the RV pictured below out the Evergreen S curve up to Charlevoix by myself. Luckily my hubby has trained me to drive a lot of different vehicles with trailers, so I was able to take that experience and make it work.

Getting ready for the Family Fun Run- 1 mile down Bridge St |
All ready to go!!! |
The Run was sooooo fun!!! Owen ran pretty much the whole way, pretending he was "Lightning McQueen the whole time- sounds effects and everything. Sophie got trampled pretty good at the start, but was a trooper. She rode in the stroller, but did end up running across the finish line! I wish I would have taken a movie of the start- it really was a great time! Owen was so into it.
Yay! We finished and got celebrate with our cousins Sadie, Jack and Haley! |
Sophie rockin' it on the ski- she got quite a lot of hoops and hollers when we went through Ironton! |
Owen had fun showing off as well! |

We had some fun with Nashu and Nasha- this is Mama Ica's brother and sister in law visiting from Romania. They experienced their first time on a boat... a boat without a bathroom. Oh boy- it was really funny explaining to them how we "go in the lake"
I got some smiles out of these Romanians, that can be hard to do sometimes! |

The whole group, waiting for the fireworks to start |
