The Winter Storm of 2012 occurred on Friday and Saturday March 3rd into the 4th. We got a large amount of very wet and heavy snow in a very short amount of time. The timing was a real bummer as I had to work all weekend and Dean was out of town at a bachelor party. We lost power for a week, in fact, we left for vacation 5 days after the storm hit and still hadn't regained power. What an experience!

| Owen and Sophie didn't mind it. Playing outside was fun and we did manage to find a plug powered by the generator to work the TV and a DVD player. |
