A Weekend In Madison

Sorry for the delay to this most exciting blog post, illness has stricken The Adams' Household.  The kids have been mildly sick, fighting runny noses and slight coughs, but I have assumed the brunt of it.  It'd be exciting to say that I had the H1N1 flu with all the hype it's receiving, but I doubt it.  I'm very excited to share with you our weekend in Madison,Wisconsin.  We went there to visit my brother Jason, Rachel, Beatrice and Charlie.  Joining us were Grandma and Grandpa as well as the Grand Rapids Plums.  We had such a great time.  I have produced a video to summarize our trip- enjoy!

Because the video is so long, I ended up omitting some other fun things we did, like going to North America's largest Farm Market in downton Madison.  We had a great time, the kids ate doughnuts, the adults ate this amazing cheese bread and we all toured the capital building- which is amazing by the way!  Here are the "big kids" eating their snacks on the steps of the capital.

Madison has a free zoo, so ofcourse we hit that up.  The kids really enjoyed this!

Here is Owen in awww, watching a black bear roam around

The biggest hit may very well have been the turtles, Bea and Owen loved this!

The kids had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa as well. Here is Grandpa playing with the kids prior to getting on the city bus on our way to University of Wisconsin's Homecoming Parade

How appropriate to have Grandma on the rocking chair with the kids...
