Summer Fun

It has been a busy summer, so we're going to get you all caught up in one post. Mostly pictures this time....

Look who's eating! Yes, little Sophie is loving her solids, after struggling for a couple of weeks at first. Now she is enjoying a lot of different foods, her favorite so far is definitely avocados. Mom is thrilled with this because we need to fatten her up a bit. At her 6 month check-up she was only 13 pounds and barely in the 5th percentile for height and weight- too bad cuteness isn't on the growth chart!

OK, the real reason we have been so busy this summer is because of our house. We pushed real hard to get it done for the Parade of Homes, and we made it! The Parade was a huge success for us. Dean won all the awards possible, including the coveted Peoples Choice. This makes two years in row! He is already receiving calls for new builds because of the Parade. We are very thankful that all of the hard work paid off. We also realize that we are VERY fortunate to be able to raise our children in this beautiful house.

Everyone has been asking for photos, so I have included a few below.

Here is a typical day at the beach with the family

Sophie loves her boat rides!

Owen still loves to drive

For Christmas we bought mom and dad a paddle boat. The kids are loving it!

My favorite time of day at Arbutus, sunset...

This is Owen and Elliott. They are 10 months apart, but you can only imagine how many people asked us if they were twins... Owen is 10 months older by the way.

This is next door at Grandma and Grandpa's House. Dean built my parents new home right next door to ours. My mom's tub is huge, big enough to fit 5 grand kids comfortably.

Mowing the Lawn for the first time... Owen helping

More fun at the beach... this was bubble day!

More fun on the paddle boat

Going to the Junior Royale Parade

Owen loves his trucks...

and his grandma.

Dinner Time!

Just hangin' with the boys
