A Wonderful Couple of Days

Oh where do I start. We have had such beautiful weather the last two days. I have really been enjoying Sophie as she has started to enjoy her awake times and starting to interact with me, and allowing me to take pictures of her! I'll start with with some nice ones of her...

Like I said in my last post, I think her eyes are amazing and I can't keep my camera off of them.

Here are those eyes again. She has always loved looking at her dad, even moments after she was born. It really makes for a great picture!

Owen LOVES his sister. When he wakes up in the morning or after his nap he holds up his hands and asks "Where da baby?" We are still trying to get him to say Sophie, but no real luck yet. We're not sure if can't say it or just doesn't want to. Instead of saying Sophie he says "broda" (brother). Once prompted he will say sister.

Today we went to the beach in the morning and Owen loved it. I brought a bouncy seat for Sophie so she could join us on the beach- and of course I took pictures.

Owen got to have a picnic on the beach today. That made him very happy

The whale counts are up this year and boy are we seeing them. Today we saw several only about 100 yards from shore- amazing. Here is Owen watching for whales...

For those who don't know, we are here with my parents, my Uncle Dave and Aunt Rosemary and my Aunt Mary (my dad's brother and sister) Uncle Dave and Aunt Rose live in Virginia so we are not able to see them much. Having the Plum siblings together is great fun. Here's a shot of all of them cooling off in the pool, reminiscing good times.

Before dinner we got our first family picture since being in the hospital. Sophie got all fancy in a dress (thanks to cousin Ally again) and the boys wore their matching Hawaiian shirts. We went to one of our favorite restaurants for Uncle Dave and Aunt Rose's last night here, they leave tomorrow.
After dinner we took another nice picture of the Plum Family

And Daddy and Owen enjoyed the amazing Hawaiian night sky
