The big event of the weekend was a surprise birthday party that we threw for my Dad's 60th Birthday. It was to be a surprise... and we managed to pull it off!

Here is the entire Plum Family, all 18 of us. Did I mention that the family is going to be gaining three members in December?
Owen loved baby Elliott, and its a good thing since he will have a baby sibling of his own come December! Yes, we are having another baby! We are due December 20th! The other two members of the family that we are expecing will be due within a month of our new one. Nate and Julie will be having their second, and so will Jason and Rachel. 
Owen wasn't too sure about sharing his house with all of those people, especially when it came to using his swing. We did manage to get some smiles out of him when it came time to eat though-burgers and beans are his favorite meal
Owen and "the Beez" were both in the same boat- not walking yet and having a hard time maintaining their territory. We brought out the baby gate so they could play in peace.

We did manage to make it out to the lake later after the party. It wasn't the warmest weekend, but that didn't keep Owen out of the water!
Al and Simon bought some worms and went fishing. After about an hour out on the boat, they tried fishing right off the dock. One cast and 30 seconds later came Simon's first fish. We have found that our dock is quite the hot spot!
