After our trip to Maine we stopped in Akron, OH so I could go to a nursing conference. While I was at the conference, Owen and Dean when to the the Akron Zoo. Dean was surprised at how fascinated Owen was with the animals. Here they are taking a ride on the train.
Owen and the Tortoise bonded... Almost like the story book Owen and Mzee, except that Owen isn't a hippo. We read about Mzee the Tortoise at home, its an amazing story, not to mention a great book!

Later that day we went to a pumpkin sale. We worked on Owen's sitting skills
